working bee

Saturday 29 May 2010

While the everyday upkeep of the kcc site is completed by paid staff, kcc seeks to continuously improve the convention site with a number of major works designed to benefit the many guests who visit the site each year.

We ask everyone who can, to come and enjoy a weekend of fulfilling work with other Christian people in the mountains. There will be lots of projects to complete, and we need your help, whether you're a skilled carpenter, a beginner painter, a willing gardener, a lifelong engineer, or just happy to help where you can.

Free Agapanthus, Firewood and Mulch
That's right you can take home as much as you like. Bring a trailer, a ute or just a large box with you.

Free Meals & Accommodation

We will provide all meals from supper on Friday night through to breakfast on Sunday. We will start work around8:30am Saturday and finish around 5:00pm. You're welcome to stay both Friday and Saturday nights.

Families
Your family is invited to come along but children must be supervised at all times (for everyone's safety)

Entertainment
Depending on who is around we can create our own entertainment or just chill out with a big screen video (G rated) on Saturday night. On Sunday you are free to do what you would like and welcome to take some firewood, mulch or dig up as many agapanthus as you would like from the site.

Please RSVP (for catering purposes)
