The ministry of Katoomba Easter Convention would not be possible without the power of volunteers who help us out each year to facilitate God's Word in being preached from the platform. Here are 10 Inspiring testimonies with Katoomba Easter Convention volunteers: "My most memorable moments at KEC in the past have been attending the kids programs from primary through to high school. Through these programs, I’ve experienced many times of great fun and growth in my faith. In more recent years, my most memorable moments have been working with a team of leaders who are eager to serve and seeing kids understand the gospel." "KEC is a family investment in eternity. In an age where making the 'right' investment appears to the goal, KEC is a no brainer. KEC provides all our family James (9), Sophia (11), Grace (12), Catherine and I an opportunity to sit under wonderful Bible-based teaching. The non-denominational environment creates a unique sense of truly being 'All One In Christ Jesus'." "There is so much reward in watching people grow closer to Christ, and challenging themselves in their walk with Christ. Meeting new and old people each year is so amazing - it's my little piece of what enriching fellowship in heaven could be like." "As a Year 10 student, the junior high program changed my life. I was in a hard place spiritually at the time and I honestly credit KEC of 2004 with changing my life. I came back to volunteer when I finished school to be that encouragement to the next generation of kids." "We first started volunteering after our children were all in high school. We were so grateful for the volunteers that had looked after them that we decided to give some time and energy ourselves. We really enjoy being part of a team committed to serving their brothers and sisters, and we've formed great friendships as a result." "I love how all the volunteers who are assigned to stay at YHA come from all different churches, and yet while we are up at KEC, we all have a common purpose of serving Jesus over the Easter long weekend." "I volunteer because I see it as a privilege to serve God at KEC, and I am so grateful that he accepts my meagre offering of service. Over the years we have seen children grow into adults with children, and seen God working in people’s lives. As a volunteer I have met in person, many different godly people from Australia and all the over the world." "Volunteering at KEC is such a unique opportunity. You are able to serve, whilst being trained, encouraged and refreshed by the talks coming from the platform. I find that as much as I am there to serve and minister to the children and the families, I learn so much from them and am challenged and encouraged too." "There are so many memorable KEC moments, but I love watching the dedicated Toddler team in action. Young adult leaders who volunteer their Easter break to lovingly care for littlies so that their parents can benefit from undisturbed bible teaching in the auditorium. That is christian community in action." Would you like to volunteer at KEC 2017? CLICK HERE to find out how! Registrations are now open for Katoomba Easter Convention.

The Senior High School program for Katoomba Easter Convention (KEC) has sold out and another 30 youth are currently on the waiting list. Hosted by Katoomba Christian Convention, KEC is an annual retreat for the whole family. Every year thousands gather at the Blue Mountains to hear from God's Word with other believers. The children and youth programs are very popular as they give parents an undistracted break over the long weekend to sit under God's Word. Meanwhile, children enrolled in programs are served with Bible teaching and fun activities organised by one of our trusted volunteers. One such volunteer is Cherith Skinner who became a Christian in the Junior High program at KEC: "As a Year 10 student, the Junior High program changed my life. I was in a hard place spiritually at the time and I honestly credit KEC of 2004 with changing my life. I came back to volunteer when I finished school to be that encouragement to the next generation of kids." Read Cherith's full testimony here. If you would like to volunteer at KEC please apply here. To buy tickets to KEC please visit our website www.easterconvention.com. We praise God for the 3,800+ youth who have set aside time to attend KYCK conference later this year. Our delegates represent youth groups from all over NSW, with the biggest group of 110 youth coming from Crossroads Christian Church in Canberra! Hosted by Katoomba Christian Convention, KYCK is a conference for high-schoolers who gather over 3 weekends in the Blue Mountains to hear God speak in His Word. Each year, hundreds of young people respond to God's saving grace in Jesus, and all who attend are challenged to live for him in the world. This year, guest speakers Brett Middleton, Ross Ciano & Dan Wu will be speaking from the book of Daniel on the theme of 'The Bold Believer'.
