We're pleased to announce that Public Evangelist and author, Sam Chan, will be joining the KCC platform at Onward 18.
Sam was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Australia. He studied medicine at the University of Sydney, and did his PhD in Theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago, USA. Sam is a public evangelist for City Bible Forum, and regularly speaks on topics of evangelism, ethics, preaching, story-telling and apologetics. Sam is the author of Evangelism in a Skeptical World, a book which equips Christians with the principles and skills they need to tell Jesus to friends in a skeptical world. |
Sam's talks for High Schoolers
Sam will be delivering two talks at the Onward High Schoolers program, held on Friday 29 June at Sydney Olympic Park.
His first talk 'Coming Out As A Christian' will address how we can be public about our loyalty for Jesus, in a world that tells us that this should be a private belief.
His second talk 'Atheism, Science, God: One of these doesn't belong' will address how we can be both a scientist and a Christian at the same time.

Sam will be sharing a talk titled 'Models For Engagement' at the Young Adults & Adults program at Onward.
How should Christians respond in specific situations, where their Christian convictions clash with culture? How do we apply Scripture’s wisdom and guidance to specific situations? Sam will give us principles and examples we can use in everyday life to live and witness to Christ well.
