Change the Way You Read Your Bible: NextGen22 Registrations Open Next Friday

21/10/2021

Due to popular demand, NextGen Training Kits are back in 2022 along with exciting new content, catering to all individuals who want to learn to share the Bible with others.

Are you someone who feels ill-equipped to share the Bible and wants to know more on how to tackle difficult passages better? Or perhaps you are someone looking for simple, Bible-based training so you can give better biblical answers to questions?

NextGen is for anyone who wants to share the Bible with others, providing the essential tools to know and share the Bible well, whether you are leading youth groups, Sunday school, scripture classes, home groups or in 1:1 settings.

With its focus, “Know the Word. Love God. Share the Gospel”, NextGen ensures you will come out of training confident about approaching and knowing what to look for when reading the Bible, as well as feeling equipped to explain passages biblically to anyone.

Though NextGen typically starts in January, its digital accessibility means training can be completed anytime and anywhere, giving you the flexibility to complete as many of the short courses as quickly or slowly as you like.

In 2022, your NextGen training will be maximised through:

  • NextGen’s core short courses (‘strands’), complete with training booklet posted to you;
  • Bible talks from our keynote speaker, Kit Barker (Old Testament Lecturer, Director of Research at SMBC), who will be unpacking the book of Psalms;
  • NEW to NextGen: Verse-by-verse with Kit, who will take you behind-the-scenes on his talk preparation for NextGen;
  • All-new practical workshops from subject matter experts, with sample topics such as Reaching Generation Z, Engaging all Learners to Engage with God: Including Kids and Teens with Disability, Spiritual Formation of a Leader and From the Bible to a Kids’ Talk;
  • Plus more!

So, mark your calendars! Registrations for NextGen 2022 open Friday 29th October 2021!

NextGen exists to give an avenue for individuals to grow in their love of the Bible through their literacy of the Bible. The convenience and ease of the DIY approach of NextGen enabled hundreds of individuals in 2021 to train in a manner that suited their calendars and circumstances.
“We held our first Refresh Mentors Training Camp last week in lieu of hosting our annual youth camp due to COVID. Despite these circumstances out of our control, we knew God is in control and good so we nervously prepared with great expectations! It was indeed a paradigm-shifting week being trained in character, convictions and competence under God's Word. We left camp feeling challenged, encouraged, equipped and spurred on to keep living a life of service to God and to others! Appreciated our timely collab with NextGen this year!" – Refresh Summer Camp
“While travelling, we would listen to the NextGen talks and workshop material, and then discuss what we had learned in the car. Sometimes these conversations would continue over dinner, or while fishing. We were able to sit for a fair bit after each talk to think about them.” – Henk
“Amazing opportunity to push yourself to grow for your love for Christ. Don’t miss out on this privilege many (around the world) would only dare to dream.” – Lish
“Just knowing how to write a really well written Bible study is equipping us for our time in ministry.” – Ania
