We are pleased to announce that Ray Galea will be returning to the KCC platform to teach at NextGen 2018. Ray is the Senior Minister of Multicultural Bible Ministry (MBM) in Rooty Hill, a church that is dedicated to working cross culturally among second generation Mediterranean and Middle Eastern people in the west of Sydney. Ray is married to Sandy and has three children; James, Amy and Madeline. Prior to being a minister, Ray studied at Moore College and worked as a social worker in Wollongong for three years. You can learn more about him in this interview conducted by Some Answers. Ray is the author of 'Nothing In My Hand I Bring', a book which describes his experiences of being born into the Roman Catholic Church, and how meeting Jesus in the Scriptures prompted him to look into the key teachings of the Catholic and Protestant faith. He is also a contributor for The Gospel Coalition Australia with articles such as 'My Plan is Better Than God's Plan?' and '10 Things I've Learned About Culture'. You can get a taste of his teaching from the book of Isaiah here: Grab your Early Bird ticket! NextGen will run over two weeks in January at the Katoomba Christian Convention conference centre. It is suitable for anyone looking to be equipped in youth and children's ministry. Through Bible talks, personalised strand groups, and workshops, NextGen will equip delegates with a better understanding of how to read the Bible and faithfully pass on the gospel to the next generation. Early Bird tickets are currently available until 15 October. CLICK HERE to purchase your ticket at the best price. Stay up to date with NextGen on Facebook.
