In 2020, Katoomba Christian Convention (KCC) released the new ‘KCC One’ app, creating a one-stop shop for accessing life-changing Bible talks in video, audio and text formats from the KCC archives. Since its release, KCC has been working to develop the app to expand its availability further than a mobile device. In late 2020, the app became available on tablet devices, and today, is now accessible on the web. Currently serving over 3700 users, expanding the app with a web version reinforces KCC’s vision to make God’s word accessible worldwide, particularly serving those who cannot readily attend a KCC event. KCC One’s web interface still features the same watch, listen and read functionalities as its mobile and tablet counterparts, enabling users to gain immediate access to an extensive library of expository and topical talks from local and international speakers. KCC One is constantly being updated with new content to edify its users. Here are just four of the latest resources now available to access and encourage you this week. 1. How To Be Calm, Purposeful and Find Joy in Life & Ministry – Peter Moore In this KCC Conversations video, Peter shares the challenges of ministry and the struggles that Christian leaders face, particularly with stress and burnout. He shares some transformative solutions to these challenges, including the one-to-one support ministry of mentoring, where pastoral leaders are given a framework and resources to reshape ministry to something much more enjoyable and much more effective. 2. Giving Hope to Women in Africa – Dr Andrew Browning Dr Andrew Browning has been helping women affected by obstetric fistulas - a debilitating condition resulting from obstructed childbirth. In this KCC Conversation video, Andrew shares more of his story and how God gives him the strength to do this work. 3. Q&A with Kara Martin & Jo Gibbs Available as video or audio, Kara Martin and Jo Gibbs answer our delegates' pressing questions on the OneLove 2020 theme 'Come to Me: An Invitation to Find True Rest'. Kara and Jo give practical, spiritual and biblical advice on how women can find true rest in Jesus. 4. The Kindness of God – Testimony by Mohammad Shahmaleki Mohammad grew up in Iran in an Islamic family. In 2014, he came to Australia to study his Masters and during this time, took the opportunity to look into other religions. At first, he started attending an Iranian church just to prove them wrong. After reading the Bible for himself, Mohammad came to understand the depth of God’s love and became a follower of Christ. Mohammad shares his story at KEC 2021 in this interview.
