CAN YOU PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO MR RAITER:

I was at the KEC conference on the weekend.

I am writing this email in regards to a statement you made during Monday’s talk. As a Christian and someone who practices yoga daily what you said was totally out of context. What you described was two steps in a routine and if you knew that you would not have assumed and wrote what you did. Can I ask do you say the same about karate or Tai Chi or anything else you don’t understand?

Hypocrisy comes to mind: is it like a non-Christian reading one line out of the bible and assuming the worse. Aren’t we as Christians meant to preach the word of the gospel and if you have an opinion do your homework before sharing your words.

FYI: Yoga is not a religion it is exercise. When doing routines, what was heard by your wife, is a story. This is like in Tai Chi.

The only thing I agree with you is that they shouldn’t be practicing in the church.

If you would like more information on Yoga, I am happy to assist.

P.S. if God didn’t lead me to Yoga I wouldn’t be walking today!
