We are pleased to announce that Danny Mitchell will be joining the KCC platform at KYCK 18.
Flying in from Queensland, Danny is the youth pastor at Arundel Presbyterian Church on the Gold Coast. From an early age Danny had heard the stories and claims of the Bible however he still saw himself as a good person who didn't need forgiveness.
When he was 14 he started attending a youth group where he was struck by generous love. Over time he realised that this love lined up with the message they were preaching - that Christ died for his sins, once for all, the innocent for the guilty, to bring him to God.
Danny is married to Kate, and they have three spunky girls named Adeline, Elsa and Beatrice. Prior to life on the Gold Coast, Danny had studied at Sydney Missionary Bible College and served as the youth pastor at St. Mark's Anglican in Oakhurst.
KYCK is a conference for high schoolers. Every year 6,000 youth head to the Blue Mountains to gather and hear from God's word. In 2018, youth will hear from 1 Peter and learn what it means to respond to the gospel and follow a Saviour who is out of this world!
